Thor Edvardsen
Professor Thor Edvardsen, MD, PhD, FESC, Rikshospitalet University Hospital, Oslo, Norway.
Prof. Edvardsen earned his Medical Degree (MD) at Haukeland University Hospital, University of Bergen and his PhD / Dr.Med. at University of Oslo. He is a board certified specialist in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and has been a senior staff member at Dept. of Cardiology at Rikshospitalet since 2002. He worked at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, USA in 2003-2004 and was involved in cardiac MR and CT research. He has more than 45 international scientific publications and 2 book chapters. He is active in clinical and experimental research in the area of myocardial function and has extensive knowledge of cardiac ultrasound, MRI, CT and hemodynamics.

Kristina H. Haugaa

Erling B. Rein
Mr. Erling Bekkestad Rein, Cand.Med., MD, Capt (R) and currently CEO and founder of Thermonor. Mr. Rein has 10 years of experience from the Norwegian Armed Forces. He earned his military degree from the Army Military Academy in 1992, and later served as Medical Platoon Commander (Lebanon) and Company Commander. He has wide military experience from the field and two distinguished orders. After 6 years of Medical School (Oslo) and 2 years of hospital internship, he became a licensed medical doctor in 2006. During this period he received a scholarship from the Norwegian Army and The Norwegian Research Council, to do research on cardiovascular physiology at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Department of Physiology. He is currently a PhD student, and his thesis is on blood circulation and mechanisms in temperature regulation.

Nils Petter Oveland
Mr. Nils Petter Oveland, born in 1976. Graduated from the medical faculty at the University in Bergen in 2001. In 2002 and 2003 completed 1 ½ year training period at Bærum Hospital in Oslo and Hitra local doctors office. Thereafter served 1 year as a military doctor in the Norwegian Army. Since 2004 worked as an anesthesiologist at Stavanger University Hospital including one year as a doctor at the HEMS unit Norwegian air ambulance. From june 2008 employed as Ph.D candidate with Norwegian air ambulance.
